Pick Your Flowers, No Garden Required

Late April has opinions. The calendar says spring. The garden is still negotiating.

Fortunately, paper is always ready to delight you, no matter the elements.

The vintage-inspired floral gift wrap in my shop draws on botanical prints, ephemera, and decorative papers I've collected over years, artworks and prints from the 19th century. These are patterns that could have lived anywhere from your great grandmother's teacup or slipcovers to Marie Antoinette's boudoir. These papers wrap May birthday presents beautifully. They also line a drawer and make you happy every time you open it, which is a perfectly legitimate reason to own beautiful paper, as if you needed one.

A small tip: Roll wrapping paper design side in and secure with a rubber band or a bit of string, or store flat if you have the space. Patterns stay crisp. Paper stays ready.
